In particular, I write about salvation history in its ancient historical context, and I tell stories.
The Bible is a myth that is true. It is a myth because it is a story that makes sense of reality. It is true because it encompasses the real, the sum total of that which exists.
But that’s uninspiring.
Suffice it to say, Jesus is the meaning of life, the key to existence, and to help you see him, I tell stories.
The night raid for the royal bones. The witch king’s daughter. The last prince of Ansan, who returned from fighting the numberless horde at the edge of the world to call himself king of the universe. The word death, written in sand. They are, all of them, recorded in the Bible, though you may not recognize them yet.
To be honest, at present, this newsletter is a landing place for those of you who have heard about my upcoming book and want to know when it’s available.
